Omega-3 from the Southern Ocean. 500mg of Antarctic krill oil per capsule, naturally rich in marine phospholipids and coloured by astaxanthin.

Not your run-of-the-mill omega-3 supplement. Longevia Omega Krill is sourced from the frigid waters of the Southern Ocean, where Antarctic krill gather in vast numbers, among the most abundant animals on the planet and the foundation of the polar food chain that sustains whales, seals and penguins. Their oil carries omega-3 bound in marine phospholipids, and something standard fish oil doesn't offer: astaxanthin, a striking red carotenoid made by marine microalgae. It passes up the food chain to krill, and it's the same pigment that gives salmon and prawns their colour. An extraordinary origin, distilled into a single capsule. Carotenoid-rich foods are consistently associated with good health.

In every capsule

  • 500mg krill oil (Euphausia superba)
  • 200mg marine phospholipids
  • 60mg EPA
  • 40mg DHA
  • 100µg astaxanthin

What it contributes
EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250mg of EPA and DHA. Two capsules provide 200mg, so they work best alongside a diet that includes oily fish.

How to take it: one to two capsules a day. A pot of 60 lasts two months at one a day, or one month at two.

Credentials: Made in the EU and packed in the UK to GMP standards. Halal certified.

Omega Krill FAQs

How is krill oil different from fish oil?

In krill oil, much of the omega-3 is bound to phospholipids. In standard fish oil, it is typically in triglyceride form. Krill oil also naturally contains astaxanthin, the carotenoid that gives krill its red colour.

How much EPA and DHA does it contain?

Each capsule provides 60mg EPA and 40mg DHA: 100mg combined, or 200mg at two capsules.

Is Omega Krill suitable for vegetarians or pescatarians?

No. The krill oil is a crustacean product, and the capsule shell is made from bovine gelatine.

Who should not take Omega Krill?

Do not take it if you are allergic to fish or shellfish, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have a blood clotting disorder or take blood-thinning medication, consult your doctor before use.

Where is it made?

The krill oil is made in the EU, and the product is packed in the UK.
